What is Nature² "the silver ion cartridge"?

How does Nature² work?

The Purifier precisely controls water flows through a replaceable cartridge. Inside, a non-electrical reaction "activates" oxygen to kill bacteria, algae, and viruses. Next, Nature² releases trace amounts of natural, algaestat and bactericidal minerals into the pool to help prevent bacteria and algae growth.

How do I know if Nature² is working?

The most reliable test of effectiveness is the improved quality of water. You'll notice a remarkable difference. Visual clarity and sparkle, even at extremely low levels of residual oxidizer, indicate that the Nature² Purifier is working properly.

Is Nature² a filter?

No. A filter is designed to remove large particles and debris, while Nature² disinfects pool water by killing 99.96% of bacteria, algae and viruses, which are too small to be caught by a filter. So you need both a filter and Nature².

Is Nature² an "ionizer"?

No. Ionizers require electricity to discharge copper (or metal alloy) ions into pool water. Conversely, Nature²'s non-electrical ceramic & mineral cartridge converts oxygen to sanitizer, in addition to releasing micro-doses of bactericide and algaestat to keep a pool sanitary.
