How accurate is the TruTest Reader?

The reader will report free chlorine with a range of +/- 0.3ppm on levels of 0 to 3ppm, free chlorine levels from 3 to 10ppm the trutest reader is accurate with in +/- 1.0 ppm. The entire pH range is accurate with in +/- .1 and the Total Alkalinity is accurate with in +/- 30 ppm.

I dropped the reader in my pool / hot tub is it dead?

The Trutest reader is designed to such accidents and should float. Simply dry off the unit, remove and dry out the batteries and dry the compartment replace with new dry batteries and the Aquacheck Tru Test reader should be back to working properly.

What ranges can the Aquacheck Trutest reader handle?

The reader has a testing range for free chlorine of 0 t o15 ppm, for pH 6.18 to 8.8 and total alkalinity of 0 to 300ppm.
